The striking venue has been closed since 2006 and the baths were featured as one of the ten most beautiful abandoned swimming pools by Urban Ghosts

Access to the venue is possible thanks to Nokia and La Blogotheque who bring you Lumia Live Sessions, a series of free gigs in unique venues across the country. This, their 4th session, sees them joined by emerging soul artist Kwabs. Kwabs has received a lot of great press over summer including glowing reviews from The Guardian, MTV and BBC Radio 1Xtra, and is definitely one to watch this year.

Chadderton baths were opened in 1937 and was the stomping ground of Henry Taylor - the olympic swimmer. The gig on September 1st is the first event at the venue for over eight years.
