Future Histories Exhibition

What's On

Our pick of art, architecture, heritage, and city events.

Future Histories Exhibition

  • To Be Confirmed

Presented by Institute of Humanities and Social Science Research.

Exact dates to be confirmed.

As the culmination of the AHRC Collaborative Skills Training Programme ‘Creating Our Future Histories’ we will be holding a public exhibition event, which will showcase the ‘future histories’ of the participating community groups.

The term ‘exhibition’ can be interpreted in a number of ways in this context: exactly what shape the exhibitions take will depend on the nature of the project as well as the particular knowledge, skills and interests of both the researchers and community groups involved.

The community groups are:

Ancoats Dispensary Trust

Ardwick Green Heritage Project

Dance Manchester

Greater Manchester & District Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND)

Greater Manchester Coalition of Disabled People (GMCDP)

Moss Side Millennium Powerhouse

My Community UK

We look forward to seeing what exhibits, performances and living history will emerge!
