An event by Manchester Modernist Society.
The Peoples History Museum has a rich and varied archive and part of that is material related to town planning and housing. We have been given the opportunity to have a private handling session where we can look, at our leisure, at a wide array of the pamphlets, books, photographs and leaflets around the theme of town planning. This event will appeal to those interested in post war reconstruction, housing, the built environment, town planning and, to some extent, 20th century graphic design.
There is a maximum of 12 spaces per session but we have two, one hour, sessions booked 11am until 12 and 12 until 1pm.
The cost is £3.50 (all of which goes to the PHM) and the Eventbrite fee.
