This talk by Timothy Farnworth will give a flavour of the life and work of the celebrated Scottish architect Robert Adam and the world he lived in. Starting with an outline of the 18th century, a time between revolutions, his birth into a building family and through his life to his last work and legacy, Culzean Castle.
